Tim from After 5 Web Design contacted me to let me know about a security vulnerability in the phpLD scripts. Having patched my own directories, I noticed that V2.00, V2.10 and possibly V3.06 are affected.

phpld programmers confirmed that v3 is safe and the latest distros of 2.x have been fixed:
